I think the most important USP (it has a few) is that it allows end users to share information without a central authority - on the fly. This is for dynamic teams quite important. Sharing information is, of course, also where the risk lies for corporate use. I would be interested in a security model of this application, just to have an idea how safe the shared data is in the application (the model offers good redundancy :-).

Hello Collanos,
I'm very excited about your product. It seems to understand that the pre MS 'groove' had merit that cannot be done away with.
As for OpenSource...I would not be so fast to assume this approach benifits the project or end users. I would suggest a base product plus 'market place' features. (I am not alone, when I say I would pay for a product that enhances my work. ) Between OpenSource & say 'Force.com' there is a large gap that the Groove Marketplace could have served. It seems that Collanos may be positioned for a big future.
Thanks,

Dear Collanos Team,

I agree with the Gartner Analysis but I do also imagine that Collaonos could become more successful if Collanos focused on developing an OpenSource development strategy as the one SUN Microsystem uses for StarOffice / OpenOffice.

I believe so because the open source community would develop and embed Collanos technology into other open source products assist the Collanos team with innovation.

Best regards.
